LIFE and HDB is data-based mobile applications that compare densely populated areas of the elderly and children living in HDB by region in Singapore.
OVERVIEW
About This project.
Based on data from the total percentage of people living in HDB by region in Singapore, the percentage of people aged 65 or older living in HDB by region, and the percentage of children aged 5 or younger living in HDB by region, the project can compare the distribution of HDB by region and where the elderly and children are concentrated.
GOAL
Based on the information on the Singapore statistics site, the distribution ratio of HDB by region and the concentration ratio of children and the elderly are provided, respectively.

CONCEPT
Design Identities.
Simplified and clear representation of complex data figures through data visualization using simple shapes.
Communicate the natural flow of app navigation with the overall consistent use of color.
Color
The main color of the "Life and HDB" app reflects the atmosphere of Singapore's HDB. A warm color came to mind when I thought about the traces of Singaporeans' lives and family harmony felt from the images given by HDB.
Red, orange, green, and sky blue were used as colors representing data visualization, which is the main information. This is mainly composed of primary colors contrary to the background color in order to stand out on the app screen.
Icon
Use simple white icons to deliver clear and easy to understand information.
Font
The text of the overall app was constructed using the three thicknesses of the SF pro font. This can improve readability and reading flow. Moreover, the importance of information was set by dividing heading, subheading, and body text through letter size adjustment.
