SCHOOL-SELECTED WORK
Say hello to YoGo!
A gamified exercise and stretching routine for children and family in the comfort of their homes.
Summery
“How do we encourage children to adopt a healthy exercise routine in the current state of the pandemic?”
Problem
6.10% of Singaporeans are suffering from obesity in 2021, according to the World Population Review.
Schoolchildren couldn’t mingle with friends and participate in group activities like PE and co-curricular activities or when they were stuck at home and can in turn affect their health and well-being.
Proposal
Introducing Yogo! A gamified exercise and stretching routine for children and family in the comfort of their homes.
By utilizing association and memory play, Yogo hopes to introduce yoga and its great benefits to children in a fun, engaging way; creating a learning experience in, about, and through movements.
Process
We interviewed parents with kids for our primary research to see how much they value physical education for their children, and what they have done to counter the Covid-19 restrictions.
For our secondary research, we referred to the physical education teaching & learning syllabus provided by the MOE, a local outlook on how the pandemic has affected the children of Singapore.
Afterwards, the insights are highlighted and compiled to form our main problem statement.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
