Hair shop Branding

 

"on:gam" implies "to turn on the senses." Gam means sensation in Korean and contains the slogan of designing a hairstyle sensibly. In order to reveal the image of the hair shop in the logo itself, the g-letter of Ongam was transformed into a human head using line drawing. This clearly shows the identity of Ongam hairshop.

The most important thing about branding is that it should be designed to reveal its color and identity. Ongam Hair Shop offers a view of the shape of a person's head in both business card design and signboards. This is a factor that can attract people's attention by putting soft line drawings between fonts that may look somewhat hard. The store's business cards consist of different colors and letter layouts at the front and back. The front clearly shows the store's logo and hair shop, and the back has a concise and neat arrangement of the logo's meaning and hair designer's information.

 
 

Shop signage

I searched around the store to design the ‘Ongam’ store's signboard. The ‘Ongam’ logo is placed on top of the mint color base, and the neon sign under the logo highlights it. It could be seen that the signage in the building near the ‘Ongam’ hair shop was mainly made using primary colors. It gave me a rather old feeling and couldn't catch people's eyes. I wanted to create an image of a hair shop that could stand out and be easily visited by people in similar signboards.
